Telluride? Boulder? [shudder] I've been in each as recently as a few years ago and while T-ride's got sweet-ass skiing and while Boulder used to be funky, each town has gone the way of Park City and Vail. That ain't hippie to me. That's wealth and prom queens, upscale spas and trendy restaurants and pseudo-environmentalists driving their Range Rovers after flying in on their private jets, living in their 10,000 square foot homes. [hippie?!] No, not each of those places is completely like that but come on, when so much of that crap is introduced, well, it makes me wanna puke and be glad I try to stay away from that hell as much as possible.

Thats why I said The Peoples Republic isn't what it used to be, But there are still many Heads lurking waiting for the right moment-lol. If you scamble up the hills they are easier to find too.

The yuppies have made affording real estate in town a real struggle. I have to admitt I know a few well to do Heads that have helped raise the cost of living with their trust funds.

Which raises the question, do you have to be poor to be "LIVIN THE GOOD LIFE"?
